2010 Commemorative Coin

A new House bill has been pasted to celebrate the centennial of the Boy Scouts of America with the minting of a commemorate silver dollar. The bill is entitled the Boy Scouts of America Centennial Commemorative Coin Act and calls for 350,000 silver $1 coins to be minted in 2010. The collector coin would contain 90% silver and 10% copper. Each commemorative coin sold would include a $10 surcharge for the National Boy Scouts of America Foundation. It is anticipated that the coins will go on sale in 2010.

2nd Annual HVSR Auction

The second annual auction to benefit Hidden Valley is scheduled for Saturday, August 2. We need supporters to donate auction items, and you can drop them off at camp from now until the morning of the event. Plan to come to camp on August 2 to enjoy the food and fun, and bid on a wide range of items, from gift certificates to electronics and Boy Scout memorabilia to tools. There will be something for everybody!
